This is part one of a wonderful steak chili recipe I have coming at a later date, but you can use it anytime you need one of the fajita seasoning packets for whatever you are making. Homemade fajita seasoning tastes better, it less expensive and is so much healthier without all that sodium hidden in the pre-made packets. I got this recipe from Cusine Magazine, the absolute best. My mom got me a subscription for my birthday a year or two ago and it has taught me so much. All of the recipes have pictures, there are no ads and it is the perfect aide to someone learning their way around the kitchen.
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. each paprika, onion powder, dried oregano, and kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. each ground coriander, garlic powder, and black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. each red pepper flakes, ground ginger, and cayenne pepper
